Welcome to Chris Wallace's world. The Fox News newsman got a prized interview with President Trump and used it as an occasion to argue with his subject all in the name of shilling for Joe Biden:

WASHINGTON – Fox News host Chris Wallace fact-checked President Donald Trump's inaccurate claim during an interview that former Vice President Joe Biden is in favor of defunding the police, leading to a testy reaction.
In a clip released between the "FOX News Sunday” anchor and Trump the president blamed "stupidly run" Democratic local governments for the increase in violence in some cities and implied the increase was the fault of the defund the police movement.
Just one problem. Trump was right. And Wallace was wrong:
Biden indeed has called for defunding the police. Taking money out of a police budget and placing it into the coffers of social workers or diversity officers or sensitivity trainers, or anything other than police ... is defunding the police.
We saw it happen with Candy Crowley, who, as presidential debate moderator in 2012, decided to take her privileged position to argue with then-GOP candidate Mitt Romney, who lacked the gumption to fight back.

I think it’s time for the FOX viewers to ask FOX to defund Chris Wallace.
He’s a shill for democrats, and defender of all things liberal. Time to go, Chris. Follow in the footsteps of Shepard Smith, and go where you belong. FOX has been the only news network standing in the way of a total news blackout by the left-wing democrats, who would like nothing better than to have all reporters and commentators working to eliminate all opposition to the socialist/communist agenda which democrats are now espousing.
As Trump walked away, he should have just mumbled, “@sshole,” just loud enough for the mic to pick up.

Now imagine the marshmallow interview he would give Biden.
The part I thought was most outrageous was when they were arguing about school funding. Wallace accused Trump of not helping poor children and children with disabilities. Unfortunately Trump did not throw it back in his face like he should have. How are you helping poor children and children with disabilities if the schools are closed? We’re being asked to pay them for not doing their job. That’s not what the law provides. The Progressives are the ones who are harming these poor children and children with disabilities by refusing to reopen the schools.
Didn’t his father have mental problems? Heredity.
Having seen the FNC clips from this “interview,” I’ve decided to treat my younger dog’s ingrown hangnail rather than watch the monstrosity. Funny thing, I guessed that’s what it would be like.

Friday Fox ran an ad for Wallace’s Sunday show featuring Wallace “correcting” Trump re: Biden’s support for defunding the police saying it hadn’t happened. Saturday on Watter’s show he played a video clip showing Biden saying that he indeed would defund the police. So I thought Wallace would edit out his “correction” but no, he kept it in. I quit watching this show when old man Murdoch gave the network to his kid to run and it went downhill but wanted to see how Wallace would play this.
Biden has expressed support for redirecting money away from police departments( this is somehow not “defunding” ) but the issue in question is one position paper wherein Biden, or whoever actually wrote it, says he is not in favor of “defunding” the police. It is all a matter of the particular phrase used.
In a sane world where people still had rational thinking as a pretext for civil society, Chrissy Wallace would be drummed out of the Presstitution business and Shunned from the presstitution institution entirely.
If he does; which is not likely, the game would be over for Biden.
