From what I have read, this CCP virus is 3 to 5 percent more deadly to hispanic folks, and 5 to 7 percent more deadly to black folks, as opposed to white folks. It is apparently even less deadly to those of asian extraction.

Some thing I read on the interwebs...

True? I don’t know. Plausible? You decide.

That small a difference to me is statistical noise, mind you.

the oomorbidities of diabetes and obesity could definately be in play there..

Funny, when it first started becoming widespread, the stories then were that Asians were more susceptible to the virus. It's certainly plausible, and actually, very likely. Any given disease or infection will affect different groups of people differently, based on location, genetics, hygiene standards, or other reasons.


That small a difference to me is statistical noise, mind you.

3-7% is a bit more than statistical noise. Out of a million people, thet's tens of thousands of people. Most companies' base merit raise is only 2-3%, and that's a decent $$ boost in pay, no?
