That’s an impossible position to be in. She’s wrong no matter what she does and I’m sure that idiot was emboldened by what he perceived to be his immortality.
I suspect that it’s a male thing not respecting a female officer, or thinking that she’s too girly to really shoot, or that he can cow her with his tough guy act like he does with the other females in his life.
Either way, I’ll bet he was banking on her not shooting because she was young and female.
