Trump is proving that the mayor cannot govern for the protection of the people. He is forcing Wheeler to ask to take away protection for federal workers...some which may be deep state money grubbers. So Trump is poking his thumb in eye of Mayor “wheezerfuturegeezer” and trying to win many fed workers support. I am pretty sure national public sentiment is unfavorable for mayor...so Trump looks good tweaking the idiot mayor. Just sayin’
Exactly. This strategy worked perfectly with the mayor of Seattle. When it hits the fan in Portland, and it will, it’s the mayor that’s going to feel the heat from his own voters. The more Trump gets involved, the more chances the media has to blame the whole thing on him, not the mayor, where the blame rightly belongs.
