Chemo is very powerful stuff. It was what killed my father when he had lymphoma in his 60s. This is not a good sign for the woman but Cancer does grow much slower the older you get. She should be allowed to retire and enjoy a more carefree life with her family. Why would anyone want to keep the job she has with all these ailments at her age ?

Why would anyone want to keep the job she has with all these ailments at her age ? To spite President Trump.

The growth rate of cancer has nothing to do with age.

The same thing happened to my dad. He was diagnosed with lymphoma and prescribed a very aggressive chemo. Aside from the cancer, he was extremely healthy. The chemo so depleted his immune system that when he got an infection he was a goner. This was in 1987 and he too was in his 60’s. Today he probably would have beaten it.

She should be allowed to retire and enjoy a more carefree life with her family. She is allowed to retire any time she wants, but won't do it out of sheer spite. It's what keeps her going.

Maybe her family is encouraging her not to “spend more time” with them.
