I have yet to see any proof or stats that show masks are working. For instance New Mexico has had very strict masking rules, social distancing rules and business closings since this whole mess started. The number of cases have increased lately so obviously it’s not working. Has anyone seen any stats that prove the masks are working? Our government loves stats and I find this lack of one interesting.
There are too many variables to make a real judgment. Last night someone posted that covid Mexicans were inundating the border states and being moved statewide because the border towns do not have enough covid space. A “scientific sturdy” would require observing draconian full time mask wearing vs no masks. No one is going to do that. They will just tell you that masks will save the world and no masks will kill everyone with covid.
If the downturn in covid deaths is ever discovered, the mask frenzy people will claim it is due to wearing masks rather than an apparent herd immunity.
