Plenty of people wearing masks aren’t handling them properly. Not using it properly, not changing the mask and replacing it, and not carefully preventing cross contamination with the changing of the mask all are risky, even if the mask is fully effective.

Ok moron. When doctors wear masks they are single use. The are fit properly worn once and thrown out. They are combined with gown, gloves, sterile techniques and drapes and a face shield. You tell me how that is comparable to the reused snot rags worn in grocery stores
Today I saw a picture of Biden wearing a mask with an exhale valve!! there’s usually a reporter or three at the WH press briefings with masks with exhale valves too. And that stupid Jon Karl sits there with his glasses all fogged up — because his mask is leaking!
They wear the masks in operating rooms so the junior mint in their mouth doesn’t fly into the patient.

But no, as usual, I am not going to leave anyone alone here,. unless I run out of time, which is often the case. . If we meet up in person in a ine somewhere and you are not wearing a mask (obviously), then I will most definitely leave you alone, 100% guarantee. I simply don't care if you wear a mask next to me or not. I am healthy and 57 and I believe masks and other measures are only going to delay the inevitable.
But I will wear one and promote the studies I find, realizing they are imperfect and conflicting. The reason is very simple: it will help reopen the economy. I am here to promote my theories and philosophy. I may be dead wrong and I have been wrong many times before. But sorry, no, I am not going to leave you alone.
I make my own 2 layer cloth masks. Upon returning home from an essential errand, I remove my gloves, untie the masks from the back, and drop them into a plastic bag I keep in my laundry room for used masks. I only wear them once before laundering them in hot water and then a hot dryer. I would not wear a mask I had previously worn and removed.
That is a throwaway line in that paper, that paper is not a study, that paper contains five references, none of which have anything to do with wearing or not wearing masks. It is an unsupported claim with no scientific value.
