Well, we left Seattle in 2011 for what is now 32 acres in rural KY. We’ve told all the kids that, if necessary, we can have quite a compound up here. We have two streams and awesome weather for growing your own food and there is tons of wildlife that is mighty tasty.
I don’t expect it to really come to that but, worst case scenario...
Got 60 acres in Florida in the family. Can’t say it’s not hot, can’t say it’ll grow much other than tasties for the wildlife.
How does one find good land? I’ve seen a ton on Realtor type sites but they often look alike. Arkansas appeals to me.
