You also realize that the “cases” are up but deaths are down right? And what happens to a fraction when the denominator increases but the numerator does not? Come on say it with me.......
Lastly, you do realize, had we done nothing more than possibly quarantining old peoples homes, that this would be over already right? The measures we are taking only help to prolong the virus. Flattening the curve increases its duration.

Bingo. I didn’t realize it at first, but that is true.
I always knew this was being politicized and blown out of proportion, but I thought it was much more dangerous than it actually is until I saw a followup article about a cruise ship with covid 19 loose onboard.
Only 17% of passengers infected, half of those never knew it. Now I also realize that is probably because a lot of us already have at least partial immunity due to contact with other forms of coronavirus in years gone by. Herd immunity.
The best solution is protect and if necessary quarantine elderly and infected, and let it run its course. We’d be through with it long ago.
Masks don’t help, why did huge cities in China that already wear them daily due to smog have mass epidemics? Most I see have nowhere near an effective seal. And if you touch it constantly, which most people do, you only transfer any critters it may have stopped to your hands, and guess what happe s next time you rub your etes or scratch your nose...
