Cruz thought he was too, but it was much too close for comfort in 2018.

Yeah, he buried her, something like 70/30. I was getting 4-5 mailers a day from her. Most of them were about how Nehls "was doing nothing about human trafficking". It got to a point where all her mailers and constant TV ads were about Nehls and human trafficking. It's like she was trying to turn him into Epstein. She eventually put on one of the lamest TV spots ever with terrible actors doing terrible line readings of stuff like "he's a fake conservative!". I actually got a chuckle out of that one because it was so bad.

She spent $8 million for a congressional seat. It is mind-boggling that she spent so much for a runoff when she had finished a very distant 2nd to Nehls in the general. I guess we've seen the last of her until she tries in another district in 2 years.
