This title is strange.
They are getting hacked by some vulnerability not related to Bitcoin, to advertise an unsafe opportunity to do something with Bitcoin.

Probably the only safe thing you can do on Twitter right now is to temporarily deactivate your account.
For every verified account that’s been hacked, there are thousands of smaller ones.
If somebody has a de facto master key for access to every account, nobody’s safe.

Changing your password likely wouldn’t matter here. These hackers have some sort of override, looks like. Doomsday scenario that has so far been used to only collect Bitcoin.
