I don’t talk politics with most relatives or colleagues. Have a few brainless leftist colleagues and associates, and I let them blather, as the do.
Conservatives working anywhere in government, academia, urban settings, etc… often find it better to simply remain underground.
I also lie to pollsters, and I know others who do the same.
Always lie to pollsters! Let them think Biden will soar to victory on wings of angels.
Or don’t even answer the phone if you don’t recognize the number. That’s what I do & they never leave a message.
I have some friends who are retired and some who are active State and Fed employees. To a person they are contemptuous of Trump. They also are firmly committed to the belief that all social problems are best resolved by government. In their minds government is the citizenry. To their way of thinking those who believe otherwise are ignorant. Hence, all Trump support is based on ignorance. They fail to recognize the tyranny of government because they are a willing part of it.
