He could never be nearly the backstabbing traitor that Sessions was. While everyone was gunning for the Presidents head over a fake investigation he was cracking down on those ultraviolent marijuana smokers.

Senator Shelby endorsed Sessions. Shelby personally blocked wall funding during conference with the House. If that isn’t RINO nothing is. Sessions was endorsed by other RINOs. I can dig out the old The Hill article if you wish but what is the point?
If Trump loses amnesty is coming next year. A Trump loss means a Dem Senate and no single GOP Senator is going to stop amnesty.
It was important for GOP voters to show the establishment that there is a price to be paid for do-nothingness. Sessions loss tonight might actually stir Graham and Barr to action.
