And keep millions of qualified American STEM workers underemployed or unemployed? What should we do until then? Starve?

I’d take the chance on Tubs.
Sessions destroyed Trumps agenda for two years.
If he wins, let’s see how Tubs votes, then whine.
A lot of people here thought Trump would govern
as a RINO. They were wrong. Very wrong.
I’m guessing you were anti-Trump back then too.

Your posts mirror Sesions’ attitude. They contain not a shred of reflection or remorse. This isn’t a political parlor game. Real people were assaulted and lives ruined thanks to the selfish actions of Jeff Sessions.

Today many Democrats will be voting for “godly” Sessions in gratitude for his support. So will his GOP swamp buddies who prefer him to Tuberville. There is no future for the GOP as a conservative party if it includes coup enablers like Jeff Sessions.

The most telling thing is Jeff’s swamp buddies want him back in the Senate club. If he really was effective no way they would want that. They’d be just fine with Tuberville.

McConnell always fights tooth and nail to keep genuine conservatives out of his club. That he isn’t doing that here is all you need to know about Sessions.

Mueller's appointment was not "accepted" by anybody. It was just done by Roseinstein with no consultation or input by the Trump administration.
And 2, The only time Roseinstein actually submitted his resignation was in April 2019 when his resignation was promptly accepted. He has clearly pushed out by Barr after ending the Mueller witch hunt. All other references to “resignation” were just hot air and posturing by Roseinstein.
3. Sessions had everything to do with all of it. He had zero reason for recusal. The law he cited for recusal was even wrong.
There was ZERO Russian collusion. There was ZERO evidence of Russian collusion save a fake dossier created by the Hilary Clinton campaign surrogates. .

Sessions had reason to attack the President?
Don't make me laugh. That's like saying the guy that shoots you in the back, after you have given him shelter, has reason to attack you after that.
Trump has every reason to attack Sessions.
Sessions did NOT do his job.
Barr has been a vastly superior AG than Sessions ever was.

I think you, me and thousands of others here in Bama are thinking the same thing. I’m sure not “excited” about either as well. My thinking was basically Sessions is a career politician and turned out to be a disaster as an AG. By what I have read Tuberville may be a little left of Sessions but maybe we need some new blood. As I said, the ultimate goal is to get Jones out.

Rosenstein admitted during his testimony that all he did was rubber stamp whatever Mueller/Weissmann wanted. Shockingly, Mueller and his angry Democrats (including literally a Obama White House lawyer and a Hillary lawyer) ran the “Sessions” DOJ for over 2 years! And for that we have not got a shred of reflection and regret from Sessions and his water carriers. Amazingly, they are just fine with that turn of events!

Frankly, it makes me nauseous to see anybody defending Sessions in a conservative forum. I genuinely fear for the future of the GOP given that.

Not sure what experience you had at your polling place, but here in Mt Olive I was actually surprised that there seemed to be a constant stream of people in and out the place. It was around 11:45 when we voted and parking lot was almost full. Given the fact that everyone voting was republican, i was happy to see the turnout.

are you kidding? the effect of the abuse the President has heaped on Jeff since his recusal is very apparent to having followed him closely for many years. it has really hurt him, shaken him to the core. frankly, for his sake, i wish the President, had never appointed him in the first place, but his appointment was clearly God’s.

my God, what Jeff could have accomplished if the President had instead backed him, encouraged him, had some compassion on his dealing with the corrupt situation he found in Justice and the FBI after bush and obama. or at least he should fired him right away.

instead, he just took to the “reasoning” of certain segments of the GOP base and scapegoated him, mercilessly, for an action he had to take by his own conscience, and for what he has said in his opinion would best protect the President and Justice from the fallout.

if Jeff is the kind of politician you say he is, then i can only shake my head, and admit to myself that i’m no judge of christian character, motives, and behavior.

Fortunately, i have more faith in Jesus and prayer than to second guess myself like that.

Sessions was AG for two years and in the US Senate for decades before that. What did he do about stopping H1 B1?

Agree. Sadly, many who support Sessions today like Senator Shelby do not agree. Recall Shelby, the senior GOP Senator from Alabama, barnstorming the great state of Alabama in 2017 in support of progressive Democrat Jones.

That the swamp is just fine with Sessions rejoining the useless GOP Senate club should be all the indictment we need of him. I take my chance with Tuberville and a GOP establishment put on notice: enable the ongoing coup and your political career is over.

George Papadopolous and his wife lost a baby due to being targeted by the “Sessions” DOJ. And you’re worried about Trump’s tweets?

Wake up. There is a war going on here.

Marquess of Queensberry Republicans like Jeff Sessions either don’t get that or don’t care to. Democrats are playing for real here and are taking no prisoners. They want their political enemies in jail or dead. As the riots have shown they are deadly serious about it.

If POTUS is attacking Sessions there is a darn good reason for it. If Sessions can’t deal with that he’ll never defeat rampaging Democrats and does not deserve to be the junior Senator from Alabama.

What did Sessions do about McCabe Stzrok, Page who carried out most of their crimes under his watch? The criminals at the SDNY were allowed to run riot, trampling over everybody’s rights. Sessions was a see no evil kind of guy.
On what evidence did he allow the Mueller witch hunt to start?

Thank you for stating what I was thinking. I really don’t know what Sessions’ reasons are for trying to get back in the senate, but it seems that in this state (and I’m sure many others) that we have the same people running all the time.

you’re right. there is a “war” going on down here. but is not being led by Jeff Sessions; the Bible says it’s being lead by powers, and the enemy is lead by “ruling powers”, “the rulers of darkness in high places,” and “spiritual wickedness in high places.” you’d better look there for your real enemy. if i’m asleep, then so is God.

and what is the main weapon of those “powers:” lies, innuendo, guilt by association, false witness, etc., etc.

enough. let the people of Alabama decide.

Absolutely correct. What happened DURING Trump’s presidency is far worse than whatever Team Obama did to the Trump campaign. And you can thank Rip Van Sessions for that. His recusal gave birth to Mueller and every one of his police state crimes.

The lack of self awareness among Sessions and his supporters is stunning. I get a solid wiff of know it all Never Trumpism from them. They just know best and POTUS is wrong. Well, maybe, they should run for POTUS then.

Pretty much.
The funny thing about all this is, the Dems did everything they could to derail Sessions when he was nominated, calling him KKK and everything else.
The moment he handed over control to Roseinstein, he immediately became their hero.
Rosensteins testimony before the US Senate confirmed everything bad about the Mueller probe .

Do you think this one gauy will make a difference amongst all those other traitors?

Again, the Big Picture is to stop Sessions from coming back, else other turncoats like him will be emboldened since there is no payback.

It may be legal but it’s no different

H1B is to skilled workers what illegals are for unskilled. Nothing different..
The program is violated wholesale and should be abolished
