I just tried the exact same text on a Lakers jersey and it was accepted.
Maybe the NBA just changed their policy.
Laura Ingraham just had a segment on this. A reporter at Fox called and was given the runaround about not being able to put that in. NBA later called a Fox producer and told them the “problem” had been fixed.
