Yup, I've watched the show COPS for years and some of the worse calls were domestic violence. Of course, the show has now been cancelled because it included too many black arrests. I've never tried to compare black to white arrests percentages, but I think the stupid white mullet junkies were almost as many if not the same amount.
I and the wife watched the show for laughs. "I just bought the car from some guy down the street". "I don't know how that got in my pants". "I have no idea how that gun got just below my seat". "I borrowed the car from [insert name] and didn't know that was there". "He hit me first". "She hit me first". "Oh please officer, my parole/probation officer will send me back to jail. Just give me a break this one time". "I ran 'cause I didn't know who was chasing me". And on and on. Don't these recidivists learn any new excuses in jail/prison? They are hilarious, especially the ones who bang their heads against the window. Just cracks me up.
Best of all, I just love the chases where the car thief or druggie crashes into a light pole or flips over a few times, after endangering so many people. I laugh my ass off. Yeah, I enjoy vengeance - sue me.
The things police endure every day, good grief.
Sometimes I look at the local mugshots - very entertaining.
One episode I remember in Palm Beach, some sh!tfaced mullet haired White guy telling the arresting officer his junk was itching and begging him to take the cuffs off so he could take care of it. When the officer refused he begged the cop to take care of it for him. Florida Man at his finest.
