After working Shore Patrol and dealing with less dangerous, but drunk a-holes, I get it. Now they work a thankless job for the innocent public and their politicians want to eliminate them or cut their pay.
One more time, I'd like to see a major city eliminate their police force. Also said I feel bad for the good decent citizens if that happened. Unlike many, I know not everyone can just pack up and leave.

Remember when you were told that slippery-slope arguments are fallacious?
Such a style of argument became particularly relevant during the last decade, often invoked by the right and ridiculed by the left. A slippery-slope argument was at the core of the 2017 debate over the statue of Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville, Virginia, which led to the now infamous ‘Unite-the-Right’ rally at Charlottesville.
The argument made by many on the right was simple: ‘The taking down of Robert E. Lee would lead to the taking down of other statues deemed to be racist.’ What started as the removal of a few Confederate generals will end with the removal of figures such as Washington and Lincoln.
The liberal left largely derided this style of argument, saying at the time that it invoked what they called the slippery-slope fallacy. Just because some statues are coming down over racism, they said, it does not mean statues of other, seemingly more decent men, will come down too.
Fast forward three years, and we can see that the right has been justified in its fears. Using the death of George Floyd in the US as an excuse, statues, monuments and buildings have been attacked by militant leftists, all in the name of fighting ‘white supremacy’.
Have we passed the point of no return? Socialists are giving it all they got to make it happen. The ‘plan’ is to disintegrate human society. The mirror, should we manage to open our eyes, will reflect what we chose to ignore.
The President of the State Bar of Texas, an actual Republican is under fire from the liberal left for speaking out against Black Lives Matters. The Liberal State Bar of Texas became upset to learn that they elected a Conservative Republican and are using every means to oust him.
The lawyers accidentally elected an ex cop as their President who is a Conservative Republican. One of the first thing he does is speaks out against BLM. Now the liberal left is out to get him.
This guy has been excellent. Can we find a way for him to trade places with Abbott?
Greg, has let me down but Dan has the power anyway.
You got that right. Hub and I were just talking about Greg and his deafening silence against these Marxists or we haven’t heard anything......hmmm, Dan, if he chooses to run might be the next governor of the great COUNTRY of TEXAS.......;)

Partner, Greg Abbott has let all Texans down with his dumb ideas about this virus.
And partner, I think you nailed it.......;)

Maybe Dapper Dan should vent some of his anger at our RINO Governor. It would be more useful.
One episode I remember in Palm Beach, some sh!tfaced mullet haired White guy telling the arresting officer his junk was itching and begging him to take the cuffs off so he could take care of it. When the officer refused he begged the cop to take care of it for him. Florida Man at his finest.
The idiot criminals of all races were so funny that they thought the cops were so stupid. I’ll miss the show.
Don’t remember that one. It had to be hilarious.
Partner, Greg Abbott must be a stooge for the Bush family.
I couldn’t agree more. I thought Dan Patrick was goofy when he used to do sports way back when Spot was a pup but he’s really impressed me in recent years. I hope he doesn’t run for governor......Lt. Governor fits him fine since that position has more power than Governor.....;)
