CBS Scare the Nation: CBS polling shows fear of COVID is heavily influencing polling numbers in Florida, Arizona, and Texas....60-70% are seriously concerned about the virus.
DjT leads slightly.... except in Florida where he reportedly trails by 6.
Taking the veracity of the poll at face value, I’d say its good news that DjT leads in AZ, and Texas. As COVID burns out, peeps emerge into fresh air, and remedies and vaccines mature, Joe can’t last in Florida, not with DeSantis as Gov.
We do have work ahead, however, as we can except zero help from media to report the truth about COVID.
I’ve attempted to reach local talk show hosts (sports) , and TV news rooms that are in need of facts.
My local sports peeps are reachable only thru twitter, which I refuse to join. TV news rooms usually have easier access via email.
My point to them is: get the facts, stop scaring with “cases”. Even conservative talk news rooms headline “record cases.” Calls to talk show call-in lines can get a message to the producer of the shows, if not directly to the host or on air.
I encourage all of us to pursue a grass roots campaign as described to get these influencers to look at facts.
