Stop drawing a paycheck and you can stay at home as long as you like.
As the “news” article says, the virus is RAGING across America. Surely you life is worth more than a paycheck.....isn’t it? Unless of course you can stay at home and get the paycheck. You deserve it, right? You are smarter and better than the rest of us, as you have made clear many, many times in the past.
I believe there’s a solution. The teachers working from home must submit weekly time stamped videos of all their work cuz no way do I believe they’re putting in their time.
Then plan on learning to code
If learning us virtual they don’t need teachers or buildings or pensions of unions

Teaching jobs are highly coveted in most suburban areas. Districts will have no problem replacing malcontents.
Fine, don’t go back, your lazinesses. The younger teachers will be happy for an easy job with great hours and lots of vacations.
They need to understand they will not be paid. Parents need to start lawsuits demanding they be given vouchers so they can send their kids to charter schools. Then the teachers won’t have to worry about going back, there will be nothing to go back to.
So scum and vermin teachers, quit if you don’t like your jobs. You are lucky I am not POTUS...I would demand you return to work...if you don’t report for duty...your fired!!!

Have a relative who is a teacher’s aid. One teacher told her she has never worked so hard in her life as during during covid. She believed her. Such B.S.
I have two children that are teachers (God has a sense of humor). My daughter is nervous about infecting her 1 and 6 year old children. My son is nervous on how to handle students who are split between attending classroom and attending by computer.
Both are going to have challenges.
We are praying for them.
Why should they? They like getting paid to stay home.

I'v known less than 5 people who were teachers who I thought really really loved the kids and their profession.....most of them are in it for the short hrs, short year, superior benefits, and the security knowing that they can never be fired....
they should see the stress working among covid patients in a hospital to wake them up from their sleeping beauty dream...
