They dont want to work ...but they want taxes raised to pay for them not to work.

This will be a huge problem this fall. I dont blame some of teachers. They need to settle for sick pay or unemployment just like everyone else.

But could you imagine going back to work in this environment where minors could erupt and torch a school at any moment?
Another prime reason to eliminate classroom education and to go to the internet at home or elsewhere.

Then quit. Lets have a complete overhaul and this time not have them be leftist agitators.
I agree fire them all and start over with teachers who really want to teach..

demanded full-time remote learning when the academic year begins on Aug. 18Of course they did, considering how many of their remote students completely bailed. Makes for a lot less work for Teach, doesn't it?

Hadn’t thought about the BLM angle.
You are right, some high schools could be war zones.

Rat Party Headquarters knows that keeping the schools closed will cause millions of women to stay home to watch their kids rather than go back to work...thus keeping the unemployment rate at Great Depression levels.
This nation's teachers' unions are wholly owned subsidiaries of Rat Party Headquarters...as is the NY Slimes.

These whining panty waists need to have their incomes disappear. What about those of us who have had to work around covid daily or not get paid while others have sat home making more than their usual incomes on unemployment. Go back to work. We have not shirked our responsibilities, so why should they?
To: MinorityRepublican
Get vouchers out there and let schools pay teachers commensurate salaries with tax payer money that parents choose to invest in working schools.

It is not about fear. Word has gone out from the DNC, keep the schools closed. It hobbles the economy and helps the mail voting push. The teachers unions are among the biggest rat contributors. In Texas thus week the teacher unions held strategy sessions on using the ADA and other laws to stay out. I expect hack judges to move on this and side with the teachers.
