As protesters took to the streets of Detroit Friday, the police chief released a video of the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man by a police officer earlier that day, saying it shows the use of force was justified.
Police Chief James Craig released the police dash cam video seven hours after the shooting of Hakim Littleton, which had spurred angry demonstrations in the area almost immediately after.
Chaos broke out in the west-side neighborhood of San Juan near McNichols Road. More than 100 people began yelling at police and throwing bricks and bottles at them because of what they said was another case of police brutality against an innocent black man.
But the video clearly showed a male, apparently Littleton, pulling a gun out of his pocket, pointing it at the head of a police officer and opening fire, the Detroit Free Press reported.

this happened 3 miles from me......and still they protested...saying the could have just shot him in the leg...people are brain dead. Hope all the cop haters see how quickly it can unravel....

Now in Detroit, Chief Craig credits the decrease in crime in part to the “a number of [concealed-carry permit] holders running around the city of Detroit.” If more Detroit citizens were armed, Chief Craig told a news conference last week, criminals would think twice before attacking them.
In which case there would be two cold dead bodies:
(#1) the young man with a gun
(#2) the idiot social worker who thinks he can quell a mob.
I wonder if social workers will get hazardous pay for talking logic to a mob running high on "Feelings" ?
How many corpses before the social workers union realize this Progressive/Communist idea produces nothing more than more victims ?

Wouldn’t have worked in this situation, but a cops standard shooting should be to the groin. Blow their fun off yet leave them alive to be utterly depressed everytime they have to empty their urine bag!
