And you know that they did not do that how exactly?
Obviously you know more than I do about this since I am not a dr. If he was dead before he arrived at the hospital, as everyone is saying, why would there be a code? Would he not just be pronounced DOA?
First responders can only declare someone dead in the field u see very limited circumstances ( like decapitation ). otherwise the person must be coded until arrival at an ED and care handed over to the physician in charge. usually the code will be continued in the ED for a number of minutes while the doc assessed what has happened and how long to continue resuscitative efforts. Labs can be a part of that assessment
Thanks
My tone was not uncivil. I simply cannot believe the lecturing of your misconstrued timeline.
The facts are after approximately 6 minutes of having his neck knelt on, the victim became flaccid. The officer maintained his restraints. And even was caught joking about it.
If you think they he was alive during CPR and can not understand that CPR cannot next terminated in the field without an order of a physician and that once to the ER ACLS would continue for a short period of time I cant help you
You do not understand how things typically go. So while time of death may not have been declared until an MD said so in the ER based on the reports I have seen and the tape he was dead in that parking lot. In my judgment he had irrecoverable injuries based on what happened.
If you somehow want to defend bad policing this is what gets us define the police. The cop was dead wrong. He should be cut lose. The optics and the facts is the situation are untenable. The court process should run its course so that the truth can come out but your blanket and somewhat weak defense based on your statements does not help the conservative cause. The big rap on us is that we tend to defend things that most people fond egregious. We have to work with that
This is not about some liberty loving political theory invoking John Adams or Thomas Paine. It now some free market argument about what best defends our freedoms. It is about a bad mistake that cost a life. Period. We should see it for what it is
Quite the contrary, there was no lecture in my post, simple stating the facts as I read and understood them. Your “whatever” is not civil in my opinion and is dismissive rather than trying to point out where I might be wrong. No, I am not a dr so I do not know all the ins and outs, simply stated the facts of the timing. But apparently your arrogance led you to be dismissive and your last post continues that arrogance and assumes a lot about what I may think that you have no way of knowing. Don’t bother responding, I’ve wasted enough time with you.
More Pi$$poor redundant writing by GP.
It is the last bastion of a losing argument to tell someone not to respond. I love the tyrannical attempt to shut down a conversation.
