I recommend any of several books on Winston Churchill's experience ‘in the Wilderness’. His particular sin was in conducting a very loud campaign against the ‘Government of India Act’. which was a bill as complex as Obama Care and as unproven but one the very top people in all parties had signed on to. There are few people in politics that are both as combative as WSC or have as rich friends as he had. A good example is what the Establishment did to Congressman George Miller, just because he continually expressed ‘no respect’ for his betters.
