Be still and have faith. Governing is not much fun, I gather. Lots of deals have to be made, too much time spent fending off idiotic accusations, and the sh!t keeps hitting the fan in a steady stream. But how many years has he been trying to develop the West Side Highway in Manhattan? But he’s going to win big, if for no other reason than that the Dems are completely insane and have nothing constructive to offer. After he wins big, they will either be completely cowed, or they will assassinate him. The latter is more likely. It’s what they did to old Abe. Sure, his name will live forever in the hearts of men, but getting assassinated...hurts.
BTW, Old Abe was sure he would be a one-term phenomenon, too. His fortunes changed after Atlanta was burned to the ground. Guess what. Atlanta has been good and thoroughly burnt, albeit not quite to the ground.
