PHOENIX — Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego says one Abrazo location is nearing capacity in its morgue and may be requesting refrigerated trucks. The Maricopa County Medical Examiner's office is also reportedly near capacity.
ABC15 spoke with Mayor Gallego Friday morning when she said the Abrazo location, which was not identified, is "near capacity" in their morgue space and they are looking at options to prevent problems.
“It’s specific just to one area…this is not a statewide problem,” Mayor Gallego said. "Maricopa County... is looking at everything they can do..."

My opinion: she’s a liberal drama queen who probably needs some PMS pills.
Gallego thinks she is governor and is trying to shut down the whole state herself.
They were all covid cases. All other causes of death have been put on hold until after the election this fall. So if you have a bad ticker or some kind of fatal illness, you are now safe. Unless you get the covid. Then you are out of luck.

The only problem this Dem mayor has in promoting her lie that covid is filling up the morgue is our declining covid death graph which shows deaths declining as cases have escalated and averaging 15 to 20 daily well under the 40 to 50 at the peak in April.
Going back to posts in February: Stories like this without context are useless.
My 130 bed hospital had a morgue capacity of 4-5 bodies. We managed the county coroner’s office morgue as well. It had six slots.
A car accident with five deaths would cause the county to farm out slots because 3 or 4 are always occupied.
Don’t believe all the drama.
