A contractor whose job was to work the security detail for a doctor making rounds of Afghan villages told me this. A villager told the doctor he was sad because he had to kill his wife. She had not given him a son and he couldn’t afford two wives. The doctor trouble shot the problem and determined the man was trying to impregnate anally. Neither the woman or the man realized that wasn’t how precreation took place. The contractor didn’t know if the woman eventually got pregnant as his assignment changed before the doctor cycled back to that village.
I would like to point out, though, that all cultures are the same and this is totally okay because that’s the way they do it and we can’t criticize. (Oh, for God’s sake, here...”/S”)
