Kind of reminds me of the chapter in Bernard Goldberg’s book Bias that is titled “How Bill Clinton cured Homelessness in America” or something to that effect.
I remember the moment Pres Reagan took the Oath of Office suddenly homelessness was the crisis of our times, competing with the AIDS epidemic. As soon as Slick Willie became C in C the problem....silently.....faded...away. Funny how it works that way.
