I think that could be inferred. Besides, they'll never know. I've CC'd in Costco before, and no-one bothered me about it.
:^)
This type of action by more and more Woke businesses. Blue states and cities pulling police out of schools.
I expect several mass slaughters in the run up to Election Day.
Soon as school opens, BAM!
And the Dems go wild.
It’s a request, not a ban!
Firehouse Subs is my favorite “chain” Sandwich place. Their App earns you free food pretty quickly. They also have a $4.99 Medium Sandwich Deal that’s hard to beat.
Jersey Mikes is my second favorite, but they are pretty expensive.
Both of them give you a Free Sandwich on your Birthday if you have their Apps.
Unfortunately we live in a small town in SE MS. Subway is pretty much our only choice for Sub Sandwiches. Whenever I get down to Baton Rouge, I try and hit Firehouse if I can.
Does anyone still dine there?
********
Wondering the same thing....
Well, in Texas, unless they post a 30.07 sign, they can take their ‘request’ and stick it where the sun don’t shine.
I did open the door of a gas station in a little town south of Ft. Worth that suddenly posted proper 30.06 and 30.07 signs and denounced the foreign owner for endangering me by preventing me from being armed in an environment that is prone to robberies. I told him I wouldn’t support him anymore. Another customer standing in line said “You’re right” and set down their stuff and walked out. Less than 6 months later, the place was padlocked. Tax fraud. I snickered.
While you may prefer to stay concealed at the back of the bus, that's a choice for you. When it's not a choice, it is an infringement.
OK, a post I can agree with.
I was talking to a Walmart employee about the best self defense guns, and told him I was packing concealed. He said the store has no problem with concealed carry. But if I took it out they’d have to escort me out of the store.
Their reasoning is triggering snowflakes and the like which gets the media involved.
And I agree with your comment that open carry lets the bad guy know you are armed. What this does is set you up for a bullet in the back before the real fun begins.
I open carry on our own property. If someone does not like it, they can get the hell off.
“Fortunately, there are a ton of alternatives to Flub-Way.”
No defense of subway but out in the sticks the subways inside of convenience stores are the only game in town for miles and miles.
Dont need Subway then!
“A nearby bum/tweeker sees the gun. Grab and run.”
Please allow me to correct your comment: “A nearby bum/tweeker sees the gun. Grabs the gun, shoots you in the back, robs the store, runs.”
Subway just jacked up the prices on their cheapest foot longs to $5.99 in my area. Hardly any meat on them unless you get the meat ball sub and I don’t care for that one. The quality is so low I am loath to spend $8 on one of their sandwiches. At that price point you can get decent food at a fast casual BBQ joint in my area.
I’m with you there. I think permitless open carry should be legal everywhere (I’m still amazed that it isn’t legal in Texas), and I think we would all be better off if open carry was commonplace.
However, I don’t open carry and I generally think it’s a bad idea in this day and age, at least in urban or suburban areas. There are too many crazies out there who are willing to make a grab for an openly-carried piece, either for a quick buck or because it sets them off.
A side note, eat at home it’s way less expensive.
Went to a McDonald’s last week only because I was a passenger along for a ride, and they charged me $21 effing dollars for two burgers, 2 fries, and 2 cokes!! No joke.
Never again will I go to one of those ripoff slop joints.
That’s okay, I haven’t eaten at Subway since 1993 when I had one of their subs and suffered from food poisoning.
Nighthawk: “Subway Sucks. They hardly put anything on there subs.”
Entropy12: “Subway loads up ingredients on sandwiches, making them almost too big for my mouth.”
Huh???
Cheeseburger meal (medium) here is $5.99
Quarter Pounder with cheese meal (medium) is $7.69
Separate drink is $1, any size
