President Trump trails likely Democratic nominee Joe Biden by ten points in Rasmussen Reports first weekly White House Watch survey for 2020.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds Biden earning 50% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Trumps 40%. Six percent (6%) remain undecided.
The new survey finds Trump with 74% of the Republican vote. Biden has the support of 79% of Democrats. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, its Biden 48%, Trump 36%
who answers the phones or responds to online surveys? Most conservatives say ‘f#@k you” or no comment.
and what is meant by “likely” voters. kinda, maybe, almost going to think about voting.
This is all to manipulate and try to cover the big steal if vote by mail gets done.
Well, GOP support is way over 74%, it is more like 90% and they are likely voters. It is the Democrats who are going to have a hard time to get their voters excited about Biden to vote for him.
Biden isn’t going to win by 10%, and the route is going to be on Trumps side.
I hope you are right.
“I would like to see at least one more poll backing up this SE poll before I believe the trend has reversed. Thank you.”

This is partly an online poll.
I think I have heard of online polls being very easy to manipulate...like vote 42 times, etc.
No credibility in this one.
...a holiday weekend...
_______________________________________
A holiday weekend celebrating the 1st American Revolution with a solid 14-hrs of fireworks in my area and reports from friends of the same in another. Both went for Trump in 2016, on very close and one by 67%-33%.
I read on line that there was massive civil disobedience in areas that banned all firework displays.
The people answering phones and taking polls online wee not celebrating, were they?
Good catch, I question that too.
I AM well aware of that. HOWEVER, they were one of the most accurate in 2016 - to the point of Nate Silver and RCP poo-pooing them. They have tried to maintain their good credibility.
I’m late to the party, but I was looking at 538 and it seems the latest national polls were from 7/8 in which Ipsos has Biden ahead by 6 (registered and adults, I’d like to see LV) — not great for us, but he was up by 8 the previous Ipsos poll on 7/1. So in that poll, the trend is favoring Trump. Then there’s youguv that has Biden up 9, HarrisX up 4 and, of course, Rasmussen up 10. I admit I was very disappointed to see the rasmussen poll, what with Trump’s great 4th of July speech and the good economy numbers, not to mention Biden’s obvious dementia and hiding. We just have to pray. If we’d all get on our knees and pray for God’s intervention, we would see a change. Trump is the president. He just has to use the bully pulpit and keep going to these battleground states doing the people’s business like he did in Wisconsin a few weeks ago. Keep holding the rallies, pray for good weather. I pray for God’s wisdom for Trump and for a great plan, and for God’s intervention.
