I believe the numbers. I don't believe the hype.
Texas, like Florida, has large-scale testing in progress. It makes complete sense that numbers will increase, as they're testing more people for the antibodies. A positive test for the antibodies does NOT mean you're symptomatic or in any danger. It means you HAD the virus, and your body fought it off.
We need to get numbers on total hospitalizations and total deaths. The real problem with all of this is that doctors are being urged to term ANY admission where a patient tests positive as a COVID admission. There are more people going in for elective surgeries, they're testing positive for COVID, and their "hospitalization" is being entered as a COVID hospitalization. This is disingenuous and dangerous.
Good article out today arguing Wuhan never killed anybody. The cytokine storm that was triggered by the virus, however, killed folks in vulnerable demographics.
Strongly supported by evidence and approachable too. Explains why youth in general are not vulnerable, and more to the point, SHOULD become infected as soon as practical for herd immunity.
Also discussed is why anti-virals have low success, especially in late stage Wuhan, where anti-inflammatories and steriods are particularly effective.
We’ve all been very deceived, and the only people trying to get the truth out get their information taken down almost as fast as they can put it up. It’s almost like there are entities that are dedicated to the destruction of freedom and use all their time to stamp out truth. Oh wait, that’s exactly what’s happening.
