A good stalling tactic, I used to make decisions on telecomm gear, and if I thought that I needed to choose one
of two competing incompatible systems I would want others
to do the testing while I didn’t commit to buying until
I knew the outcome.

5G is a bullshit story.

It does not penetrate walls or windows at high speed.

Only the low-speed portion really works.

This 5G business all sounds great until you really look into what it might bring. Driverless cars still look like a bad idea to me. Smart homes, smart cities seem like something that may be advanced technology just for the sake of advanced technology; no real need for something that will be extra expensive. Lots of the present advanced technology in our automobiles seems to fall more into the “gadgetry” class closer than anything else. It all costs & is not necessarily of any practical use. I’m not sure what telemedicine is going to mean except it would probably lead to the practice of medicine being more impersonal.
