Tammy Duckworth was born in Bangkok, Thailand, the daughter of Lamai Sompornpairin and Franklin Duckworth. Her father, who died in 2005, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps. Her mother is Thai Chinese.
She is NOT an Article II eligible Natural Born Citizen. She is a US citizen at birth by virtue of the Immigration and Naturalization Act, due to her US citizen father. She MAY (I do not know for sure) hold Thai citizenship as well. I know that owing to 8 years of the Obamanation, this matter is mooted in many people’s minds. However, the issue has never been adjudicated by SCOTUS and all of their previous rulings on the nature of US citizenship would seem to decide against her Article II eligibility to be POTUS.
Let us not forget that Benedict Arnold was one more than one occasion one of the greatest combat heroes of the Revolutionary War prior to his treason. It is safe to say that the pivotal Battle of Saratoga would not have ended in an American victory without him. He was severely wounded there, and lost the full use of one leg. Despite this truth, he is remembered more for his treachery than his incredible heroism.
Duckworth clearly hates the US that exists now.
