Exactly correct. So many people just accept that all these agencies, NGOs, foreign governments, government employees etc are entitled to taxpayer money without any accountability or responsibility. Not only did the WHO behave recklessly, so did the CDC, HHS and FDA among others.

The next phase of the Covid fight will be over bailing out the states and cities with taxpayer money. States like NY, CA, IL, NJ and others (and the cities within them) are probably looking at a 30%-40% hole in their budgets this year. Instead of rethinking the role of public service and a need to be more efficient, they will want to be made whole and keep all their bloated fiefdoms intact.

Should tell those states that once there other expenses match the lowest per capita spending state we can’t help them. It would be wrong to have that state pay to bail out the other states when they are living within their means. So cut their budges to match per capita the lowest per capita state and then the gov’t can help with COVID costs.
