So within hours he shows up at a partisan event with a Democrat Senator to undermine them both? Maybe he’s trying to get fired. If so it’s time to indulge him.

Time for Trump to fire Fauci. The data and proof of incompetence are there. Trump has to start playing offense. His failure to fire him is being seen as fear that he might be correct. Trump could gain politically by firing him — if he was well prepared and ready to devote the time and energy to the battle. It doesn’t matter if another Fauci takes his place until Trump gets a better Senate because Trump can ignore him as well.
Young people have learned that COVID-19 is not a serious risk to them, and they are behaving accordingly.
