Nope....don’t think there is any recorded history of sub-Saharan Africans creating any written language, wheels, aqueducts, roads, permanent buildings (e.g., Pyramids, Machu Picchu?).

The African can be taken (via slavery or immigration) out of Africa. Much, much harder to take the Africa out of the African.

JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION.

Yes up to a few 100 years ago, they lived a stone-age/Paleolithic type existence. The rest of the world developed rich language, art, mathematics, medicine, architecture, etc. Sub-Saharan Africa was still hunting antelope with stone-tipped spears and worshipping coconut husks which were supposed to be their dead relatives. 16th-century Portuguese slavers found it very easy to enslave the tribal, superstitious, primitive African. We are only a dozen generations removed from those peoples now. Biologically the same but culturally...no way 30 centuries behind in evolution. they were making great strides up to the 1960’s when real racists like LBJ did not like our African brothers catching up.
