It is regrettable that Barr did not extend forgiveness to Stone for (supposedly) lying like he did to all the others (who lied grievously) involved in the coup attempt.

Yes and I believe the Justice Dept. did not oppose his request to delay the sentence... the judge is an a$$
I want the president to know that I have, in good faith, exhausted all of my legal remedies and that an only an act of clemency by the [president] will provide Justice in my case where I was charged on politically motivated, fabricated charges and was denied a fair trial with an unbiased judge, an honest jury and uncorrupted and non political prosecutors, Stone added.

AG Barr can not give “forgiveness.” He’s not the President and does not have that authority.
He did not do any such thing for “all the others.” He asked a US Attorney out of Missouri to review the General Flynn case. That US Attorney Jeff Jensen discovered great problems and much evidence exonerating General Flynn.
