Good point and I wondered about that myself. There was an adult with them but why would any parent let their kid ‘busk’ at that time of night. In one video, you can see a guy walk by who looked to be drunk. The only people in that part of Cape Girardeau at that time of night are people going to or coming from bars. Sending a 12-year-old out into that environment to entertain the drinking crowd seems a bit irresponsible to me.
