I find it amusing that the only people who think the Democrats are stupid enough to make Hillary the nominee are conservatives.
This makes the most sense. She's a proven vote-getter and in the category of "prepared to be President" she beats the rest of the pack by several lengths. If Biden wants to die in office, she's the one who delivers the goods.
Of course, this is through the Dem lens. We don't expect a Biden-Clinton ticket will defeat Trump-Pence, but it'll please the party and lose by less than Biden-Other.

The Left will go thru the motions with Biden because installing him is how they’ll beat back any accusations of “stealing”. Once he’s inaugurated, all the string pullers will be put into their assigned places. As long as they can prop him up as the “duly elected president”, any criticism can be swatted away as sour grapes, and the media will be completely on top of that.
I agree. Hillary is not going to let this last chance get away.
