I wonder if any team in the NFL, has been selected to “take one for the team”, and sign Kaepernick to a contract.
Symbolically, with all this black lives matter and NFL endorsing kneeling for the anthem and all that, symbolically it would be considered powerful to the NFL, if the poster boy for all that comes back.
But then, that runs up against the task of NFL general managers and coaches, drafting and putting together the best team they can.
So will some NFL team be “encouraged” to sign Kaepernick, and make him the starter, regardless of how it affects the team performance on the field, just so the NFL can make a political statement? Maybe some team in “rebuilding” mode, can be “encouraged” to have him play for a couple of seasons?

Well, that’s pretty much what’s happening in NOOSECAR these days. The Petty’s were designated as the ones to “take one for the team”. The communists picked one of the best-known names in the business to pull this BS. Wonder how much the Pettys were paid to do it?
Should that happen, said team will be taking him as QB3, IOW an unqualified person who was given a charity job, at the expense of a perfectly deserving individual at some other, less glamorous position to make a spot for him on the roster.
But hey... The NFL can do what they will, it won’t affect me...
