Even funnier about Little Black Sambo is that despite the concerted effort to make him African he remains Tamil.

So it is story about a Tamil boy who when confronted by a enemy with superior strength (the tigers) manages to bargain his way out of becoming lunch and then manages to turn his enemies against each other so they become lunch (ghee for his pancakes) for him and his family.
