Decades ago, I saw a story on TV about how there’s a profile of an American Indian in the rocks to the left of George Washington. You have to be in a specifuc location relative to the monument and the right lighting helps, too. Does anyine else recall this? I’m trying to find a photo or article describing it but no luck so far.

I recall the Indian and mentioned it on another post today.

The one that showed a “Reserved” space for TRUMP.

On the above photo, to the viewer’s left from Washington, you can make out the profile, facing left of an Indian in the rocks. This would be to Washington’s right.

It’s a separate memorial to Crazy Horse. It’s on another mountain, several miles away from Rudshmore. Duckduckgo it.
