I agree. I also don't like how they changed the lyrics from the original:
The parade generals who oversee our military bands shouldn't change the lyrics of traditional hymns to serve their liberal biases.
Agreed, and agreed.
The Battle Hymn of the Republic should never be "jazzed up" like it was tonight (my only complaint about tonight's event). This great song was meant to be performed by a chorus of strong voices and a decent-sized orchestra.
