At least the song is religious-ish?
“At least the song is religious-ish?”
It actually is a hymn, and is in some of our hymnals. It didn’t start out as the “Black National Anthem”. “They” just glommed on to it because the author was a black man, and then his brother set it to music. It’s a decent hymn — at least it was before they made it political.
