So he gets the virus. He suffers through a low grade fever, a couple days of being really drowsy, then he goes about life as normal. Everyone will eventually go through the same thing, we can’t stop it by pretending.

Yep. This whole “shut down” charade was to flatten the curve so hospitals aren’t overwhelmed. Now the goal posts have been moved to some weird “stay home, wear a mask” in hopes it will somehow die out.
