Four months until the election. The rants about masks are a waste of our time.
I liked hearing a professional’s take on it, but you are correct in that it is a wasted argument at this point. The other side has, for the most part, controlled the narrative on this. I guess my hope is that once the super-unemployment benefit goes away at the end of July people will realize they need to get back to work and perhaps a huge backlash develops.
House Democrats are stalling again in favor of extending the extra $600 for the unemployed. I’m not happy about that.
President Trump doesn’t like that, of course, and he’s wisely offering a back-to-work bonus instead, to get people back to work! He’s also in favor of a higher lump sum stimulus check than $1200 for each of most people.
The good news from the White House: 4.8 million jobs added in June! “7.3 million jobs in the past two months!”
It’s time for *everybody* to get on the campaign bandwagon and increase the number of passengers! Contribute and speak to neighbors around home about the many good things that have happened over the past 3 years or so!
If it’s true that the Surgeon General has said to “Stop buying masks!”, maybe he should go viral online, TV, billboards — whatever. He’s black so maybe people will pay attention to him. (Wecht is an old white guy. Who can believe him? [s])
Of course, the S.G. first said masks don’t work, then he said to wear masks, now he’s back to his original narrative. Very Fauci-esque.
