The intelligence was briefed to Schiff’s staff during a congressional delegation, or CODEL, trip to Afghanistan in February.
Schiff, who has acknowledged President Donald Trump was never briefed on the so-called intelligence, has thus far refused to disclose that his staff was personally briefed. The revelation raises serious questions that Schiff is once again politicizing, and perhaps even deliberately misrepresenting, key data for partisan gain.
Asked by a reporter Tuesday if he had any knowledge of the Russia story prior to the New York Times report, Schiff said “I can’t comment on specifics.”

I watched Fox report on this at 6pm. Totally mashed the parts of the story up so that it sounded like a problem for Trump.
I’m finding this news hour totally anti-Trump. Somehow they claimed the phenomenal jobs numbers weren’t real.
All of the show follows the formula: “Something good for Trump supossedly happened, but here are statements by Pelosi, Nadler and Schiff”.

It was never real. A rumor is all it was and the intelligence community dreamed it not worthy of a presidential briefing. How much does this happen? I would say quite a bit considering how much information is floating around.
One has to wonder whether Schiff himself was the “Intelligence official” who leaked the silly report to the New York Times.
Just the thought of those bugged eyes bubbling up like a crocodile once again makes my skin crawl. Someone Please nip him. In the bud.
Maybe it’s only a serious matter, when the NY Times prints a story about it and makes it a big deal.
Since Schiff knew about it, it’s perhaps Schiff that leaked to the NY Times so they could turn it into a big deal.
Schiff is the perpetrator and traitor, who kept the information from the people but preferred to let the NY Times do his dirty work.
Schiff should be arrested for leaking secret information. It is a crime, even though Congress thinks they are above the law.
Interesting. That means a whole crap load of people knew about it to include the former J5, Gen Frank McKenzie (current USCENTCOM CG), and the Chairman, Gen Mark Milley, the President's top military adviser.
Then you have to throw in everyone at USD(I) to include SECDEF.
Unless.......it was briefed to Schiff prematurely before proper confirmation and analysis was done. If the TF J2 gets fired......that will confirm that.

Surprise Surprise
Can you imagine a more easily dropped rumor than this “bounty” thing? There might never be anything else, no confirmation, no documents, nothing. There normally wouldn’t be, this would all be just word of mouth, and never electronically mentioned, outside of Russian Intelligence.
No evidence, means... no evidence. Try and prove a negative, you cannot. Shiff could very well be the author and the source of this fake news. It would fit his MO. Perhaps he should be investigated for collusion with the Russians?
Just maybe the Russian Bounty was a hoax only given to Schiff to see if he would leak it to NYT.
You’d think if you read an intelligence briefing like that - your eyes would budge right out of your head!
