“Lift every voice and sing” is not a bad song. It makes no mention of Black, but mentions “white” in a positive context (line 20) and mentions God a few times.
I’m sure if we all stood up and sang it, the left wing would soon disown it and quit calling it the “black national anthem”.
Hmmm. Maybe we should call the Left’s bluff here, it is certainly more “Christian” than the current National Anthem.
