“Fort Hood officials said that a suspect in her disappearance, shot and killed himself as local police and federal investigators closed in on him. He has been identified as 20-year-old Spc. Aaron David Robinson. Despite rumors to the contrary, Robinson was not Guillen’s superior, Army officials said, and was not the subject of the alleged sexual harassment claims made by Guillen.

According to the federal authorities, Robinson told Aguilar that he killed a female soldier by striking her in the head with a hammer while on Fort Hood. Robinson further admitted to Aguilar that he transferred the woman’s body off base to a remote site in Bell County.”
