The publisher of a “tell-all” book by a niece of President Trump said it might be unable to prevent her book from becoming public -- adding it was unaware of any non-disclosure agreement that would prevent the book from being published -- after a judge ordered a temporary halt on its release, according to reports.
Simon & Schuster said it had already shipped out thousands of a 75,000-copy run of Mary Trump's “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man."
The books had already been printed before the New York Supreme Court judge's ruling, The Washington Post reported.
The book is scheduled to be released July 28 -- less than four months before the presidential election -- but Judge Hal Greenwald issued a temporary restraining order until he can hear arguments next week after the president’s younger brother, Robert Trump, filed a court action.

The publisher had no idea about the non-disclosure agreement? The publisher never asked the question in the first place? Did Mary Trump have an obligation to tell the publisher?

Many judges of today have become overt activists, not even trying to hide their personal biases. That includes the Supreme Court. RGB often mouths off about social topics that an impartial judge should stay silent about. She wants the praise, notoriety and attention more than the respect.

The problem is the first amendment.
There's a lot of precedent against prior restraint going back to the Pentagon Papers. The government can't prevent speech from occurring.
That doesn't mean the speaker is immune from the consequences of their speech. In this case that's probably a big lawsuit against her for violating the NDA.
The statement that ‘they didn’t know’ is a blatant lie... The judge should now refer them to prosecutors for perjury charges.
Seems to me that it would be incumbent on a publisher to make there are no legal encumbrances to a book before it is released. They know there is a possibility of a DNA where this type of book is concerned. I looks like the new legal standard is “ignorance” is a valid defense. It will encourage them to rush books to publication before they’ve been vetted.

MARY THINKS SHE SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A PER STIRPES EQUAL SHARE OF THE ESTATE. Even though her father died 18 years before her grandfather.
They’re aware now. Make them pay for the he return shipping and the destruction of the books.

The court only has jurisdiction over parties. No time/ extremely difficult to join as parties to the action all the retailers who have received the book
