Hard Times make Good Men.
Good Men make Good Times.
Good Times make Weak Men.
Weak Men make Hard Times. <-—— We are here!
That is true. I respect your words.
I tend to, but I'm beaming far too much today. Lol.
As for editorial meetings, I was always the quietest guy in the room.
It's sad that we have to look at it this way. I just told my boss this morning the media would do well to quit playing the political games of yesterday and get with the program that there is indeed a silent majority out there that stays quiet, gets up and goes to work every morning, pays their taxes and salivates over the thought of the next election.
Bring on November!
Ultra-liberal? Never.
Good to hear from a fellow conservative newsman.
I may be retired but ... once a REPORTER, always a REPORTER.
As for yesterday’s primaries, I was particularly pleased to read that Raiders great Burgess Owens will be competing for Mia Love’s old Utah seat. What a disappointment she turned out to be.
“Send a safety man to Congress.” I think that has a certain ring to it.
Drop me an email if you ever want to compare notes or just blow off steam.
“Well, your local paper describes Lauren Boebert as a rightwing firebrand so that sounds good to me. And Im liking both that shes from Rifle, Colorado and that she is, most definitely, NOT GUILTY!”
I drove up there to meet her after I heard about the first shutdown. I like her. She didn’t engage in the typical politician’s flim-flam shuffle.
“Shooters owner Lauren Boebert says shell serve patrons in street in front of restaurant”
They ran completely out of burgers that day. I had to settle for the prime rib. It was great food, and great being there.
“Was Tipton a RINO? If not, what led to his defeat and how safe is the district?”
He voted to fund Planned Barbarity, and for an end-run type amnesty for illegal aliens. He voted with the “squad” to give bailout money to cities smaller than 500,000.
Then he sent out a mailer—a very expensive print job—accusing her of lying.
Well, the scumbag did vote to fund baby killing, and he did vote for a bill that would have provided illegal aliens a pathway to *permanent* residence. The only questionable proposition is whether giving smaller cities corona money constitutes a Boulder bailout.
I ask if Tipton would have voted for it absent pressure from the vile scoundrels in Boulder. I don’t think so, but it can’t be proven.
